Hello.
Fit To Excel established in 2004. We were based out of surrounding parks around Brisbane. it was in 2005 we set up home in the beautiful Lang Park PCYC. It was at this stage Nadine joined forces to open the massage division of Fit To Excel. Fit To Excel has grown over the years and now has the pleasure of having some of Australia's finest trainers we have a short profile of our trainers below for you to read.
Thomas McPhail

Hi my name is Thomas. I have been involved with the fitness industry since 2004 as a Trainer I have had the real honour to train some amazing people. Training for all sorts of personal goals. Some of my fondest memories as a trainer was helping an amazing man lose a whooping 50kgs what was so amazing about this particular experience was what I learnt myself from him as a new trainer in the industry I knew all the tricks and all the right exercises, what I was about to learn on was the true impact that people suffer from from being over weight the journey someone must travel to lose weight. The varied experiences I have had from all types of people have helped me become the trainer I am today and I continue to be shaped with every new person I get to train, I thank everyone that I have had the pleasure in training, thank you for every push up and every bead of sweet you have given me and thank you for every moment of reflection as well. Personally I have been involved in the sport cycling for over 16 years now. Within the sport of cycling I have competed in road cycling, cross country mountain biking, down hill mountain biking and team time trials. In more recent years I have been racing the Brisbane cycling and mountain biking scene in A and B grade. My passion for cycling has now transferred into specialized strength and conditioning programs for all cyclists with an aim to helping improve strength, power and speed. Last year after challenging myself with racing the Coast To Coast adventure race in New Zealand it sparked a real buzz in me for trail (off-road) running, So I now am training hard to participate in some ultra marathons within the next year.

Hi! My Name is Amela and i believe Any age or time in your life is a good time to start living healthy and i mean really living and striving for a longer and healthier lifestyle. Anyone can be fit and all levels are welcome and encouraged. I am currently studiying Exercise Physiology at QUT which provides me with in depth and up to date knowledge. I completed my certificate 3 and 4 in fitness at QAF, In which I also completed, group exercise instructor and childrens and older adult trainer. I belive in achieving a balanced lifestyle through fitness and nutrition and having some fun along the way. Exercise isn't easy but the results and the complements are the ultimate reward. Creating lifelong healthy habit and a fitness regime will not only make you feel amazing but benefit you for years to come. Despite our hectic schedules we all can make time for fitness as it really is your health we are dealing with, I will always find to time to train for and complete regularly in triathlons, as well as feed my netball addiction, playing in several teams and coaching under 12s. You can always catch me riding to the PCYC on my "training" bike with a big smile on my face.

Hi my name is Rebecca. I’ve been in the fitness industry for 9 years now. It wasn't something that I consciously decided I wanted to do, more so it complemented the way I live and so it was quite a natural progression. My fitness philosophy is Do What You Love. I enjoy being outdoors, playing any sort of sport, camping, hiking and fishing to name a few. So while I do really enjoy going to the gym and running on the treadmill etc…..more often than not, most of my physical activity comes from playing sport with my friends, going for runs and roaming around the countryside. I try and make the most out of every day. I strongly believe that maintaining a healthy lifestyle through eating well (most of the time anyway….), exercise and spoiling yourself on occasion is one of keys to achieving happiness. A win for one of my clients, is a win for me and I take great pride and joy in seeing you succeed.
